A CONVERSATION, NOT A LECTURE
A good place to start.
Sample conversationBitcoin is an open digital money system. People can send value to each other through a network of computers.

This sample is copied from Afribit's Bitcoin Basics manual. Live replies are generated by AI using approved knowledge and can be wrong.
Smarter communities. Brighter futures.
01 / HOW IT WORKS
A question is a good beginning.
We believe education comes first. Our first focus is Bitcoin: a place to ask, learn and ask again in the language you speak.
- 01
Ask in your words.
Choose a language and how much detail you want. You can change either at any time.
- 02
Learn from reviewed knowledge.
Think of a restaurant: your question goes to a waiter that speaks your language. The kitchen works with knowledge the community has checked.
- 03
Know the limits.
The public demo sends questions to a hosted AI provider. Chats stay on our server until you ask us to delete them. The AI can make mistakes.
02 / BUILT ON ACCOUNTABILITY
Trust starts with being clear.
People check the knowledge.
New knowledge is used only after community reviewers approve it. The AI does not learn from your conversations.
Your secrets have no place in chat.
Afribit AI never asks for a seed phrase, private key, PIN or password. Messages containing one are refused.
An answer can be questioned.
AI can get things wrong or say it does not know. Report an answer that is wrong or unsafe so people can review it.
The code is open.
Anyone can inspect and contribute to the code. Code is Apache-2.0; educational content is CC BY-SA 4.0.
ONE RULE TO REMEMBER
Your seed phrase is yours. Keep it that way.
Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your seed phrase. Never type it into this chat. If someone asks for it, pause and ask for help.
Someone asked for my seed phrase03 / THE COMMUNITY COMES FIRST
Your community. Your own AI.
Afribit AI is an open-source learning companion that other communities can adapt to their own language and subject. We’re starting with education because understanding comes first.
04 / YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few things to know.
Can any community set up Afribit AI?
Yes. The code is open for any community to set up its own instance. Each instance has its own database and memory of reviewed knowledge, shaped by local language and priorities. A community node can host the AI locally on hardware the community manages.
Is Afribit AI only for Bitcoin education?
Education is our starting point because understanding comes first. Today’s public demo focuses on Bitcoin. The open-source engine lets communities build around their own reviewed knowledge.
Is the public demo private?
Questions go to a hosted AI provider that promises not to keep or train on them. They still leave your community. Your chat history is stored on our server until you request deletion. Please do not type personal details you do not need to share.
Is it free?
You can use this demo without paying or making an account. Your mobile data charges still apply. Community nodes are free to use on their local network.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. It uses community-reviewed knowledge, but an AI-generated answer can still be wrong. You can report a wrong or unsafe answer from the chat.
Who checks the knowledge?
Community reviewers check knowledge and language contributions before they are approved for use. Your conversations do not train the AI.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to chat. An account is needed only to contribute or review language phrases.
Does it work without internet?
The public demo needs internet for new answers. Once installed, the app shell can open offline and keep your draft on this device. A community node can answer on its local network when configured for local AI.
Is this financial advice?
No. Afribit AI is for learning. It does not make financial decisions for you.
